The kaleidoscope of colours intertwined, inundating the floors of The Walhalla Hall as the classic Raya song reverberate across. The vibrancy was a tone-setter for A Taste of A Joyful Raya and the annual International Women’s Day 2026 event in-house.
Busting out the modernised lucky 7 stones and the boat-shaped wood art – the game is about to get real! Simplifying the game rules to maximise participation, all they need to do is to ace in either game and it wins them a chance to score a prize for themselves this Raya!
Opting for traditional games like Batu Seremban and the all-time classic Congkak, it was the best time to reminisce the good old days and to relive our childhood during this festive season.
Not forgetting! Donning the traditional baju kebaya, our staff was also in the running to bagging the Best Traditional Outfit Award!
To top it off…it is not difficult spotting the ladies in pink among the blend! YES, it was a double tango celebration as we also celebrated International Women’s Day – a day where we appreciate and recognise the contribution by women across all walks of life.
No doubt that was a chocolatey sweet combo that encapsulate the essence of Hari Raya and Women’s Day, perfectly.
