It has been a while since we last organised an in-house Blood Donation Drive. The assistance and guidance from Adventist Hospital was commendable and most importantly, the reassurance from the hospital staff was comforting – especially for many of our first-time donors.
As the day progressed, it was fulfilling to witness bags of donated blood occupying the storage containers – attributing to the support of our staff and the dedication of the hospital team!
Without doubt, there was a profound sense of fulfilment in knowing that every contribution, no matter how small, could make a life-changing difference.
Borrowing an inspiring quote from Wayne Chirisa to wrap up our Blood Donation Drive, “with each drop of blood donated, another precious life will live to see the sunrise.”
