The shrieks and chaos occupy The Walhalla Hall at thirty past three every Wednesday, right at the dot.
That was the classic way to mark their arrival at our Base – an indication that it is time for their weekly routine of shooting hoops, scoring goals and getting into their competitive spirits.
YES, we are talking about the little ones of Sunshine Learning Centre – the protagonists of our Nurturing A Love for Sports Program.
Nurturing A Love for Sports Program is a 6-month program curated to encourage the adoption of sports and to provide outside-of-classroom education to the children. Most importantly, we want them to get into the habit of an active lifestyle from a young age. We hope that they would utilise what they’ve learnt and build upon it.
Needless to say, after six months of devotion and unwavering commitment poured into mastering the fundamentals of basketball, they have finally completed their Masterclass!
Seeing the passion they have, we hope they would continue on the endeavour. And perhaps… another sport is coming their way?
