Sleighing into A White Xmas… Santa was all geared to sleigh his way into the Base as he is in for a massive surprise!
Drowned by the Christmas carols amplified in the background, it was the laughter and squeals from the little ones from Sunshine Learning Centre, who joined in the celebration this year. That’s correct, we wanted to redefine Christmas this time around – instead of celebrating internally, we invited 29 refugee children over to our Base! We wanted them to experience Christmas with us and hopefully make it a memorable one for them.
Challenging themselves to a variety of games, working on assembling models of different kind, and most importantly, getting a taste of our factory tour! The little ones were certainly in for a good time – be it putting their speed, creativity or endurance to test… they even had the opportunity to sharpen their collaborative skills!
It was an excursion on its own and a fun exploration for them to discover a whole new experience outside of the daily norm of classroom-learning.
Highlighting the star event of the day was the ‘Santa is Real’ session! It was an initiative crafted to get our employees to be a part of our spreading-the-kindness goal in which you Gift-A-Child a present of any kind that you think will benefit them. And of course, the overwhelming support of our employees exceeded our 29-Gifts-for-29-Children target! With extreme gratitude to everyone who made our Christmas a special one, we look forward to an even more exciting year ahead!
